Does my script get uploaded anywhere?
No. The prompter runs entirely in your browser. Close the tab and the text is gone from everywhere it ever was.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay $4.99 once and that's the end of it. Nothing renews, nothing is charged again, and there's no card kept on file.
Do I need to make an account?
No. There's no sign-up and no password, because there's no user database behind this site. After you pay, the unlock is stored in this browser. If you switch browser or device, pay attention to the note below.
What happens if I clear my browser or move to a new device?
The unlock lives in this browser's storage, so clearing site data removes it. Email your PayPal receipt or UPI reference to hello@teleprompter.fun and you'll get it restored — that's the trade-off for not keeping a database of customers.
Why is the price shown in my currency but charged in dollars?
The converted figure is there so you know roughly what you're spending. The actual charge is USD 4.99, and your bank or PayPal applies its own rate and any foreign transaction fee. Indian customers pay the rupee amount directly by UPI instead.
Can I use it on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Open it, tap full screen, and mount the device wherever your camera can't see it. The controls stay reachable with a thumb.
I paid but the teleprompter is still locked.
